24.01.2022 At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, the guns fell silent on the Western Front after World War I. Each year, we remember with humility and gratitude the ultimate sacrifices of our servicemen and women and mark one minute’s silence in their memory. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them. Lest We Forget. ... #RemembranceDay #WeRememberThem #LestWeForget

21.01.2022 It's SANTA HAT DAY this Friday, 4 December. We've got loads of fun & festive activities organised for students to help us raise money for the annual Vinnies Christmas Appeal. Students can wear a santa hat while AT school and we ask that they bring in a gold coin donation and also donations of the Woolies Return & Earn vouchers. Due to Covid restrictions, Vinnies has requested homerooms put together complete pre-packed Christmas hampers. ... Students have also been asked to contribute hamper items which will also be donated. We would like to thank you for your support in helping others in need, particularly during a difficult year.

12.01.2022 Our wonderful Dance teacher Mrs Sarah Curran and talented Year 12 (2020) dance students Grace Dean-Haag and Courtney Griffin have been featured in an article from the CEDP - https://www.parra.catholic.edu.au/2020Callbacks "Marian Catholic College Kenthurst Dance Teacher Sarah Curran leads an impressive dance program at the school and was thrilled to have not one but two students nominated for Callback. Grace Dean-Haag and Courtney Griffen have been actively involved in the sc...hool’s dance program for many years while also assisting in choreographing junior jazz and lyrical troupes and contemporary dance for students in younger years. Both girls are fantastic mentors for our junior dancers and have really assisted in maintaining such a strong and competitive dance culture here at Marian, said Sarah. I couldn't be more proud of the mature and talented dancers they have grown to be.

08.01.2022 Marian Catholic College was one of just twenty schools in NSW selected for the Premier’s Anzac Memorial Scholarship in 2020. This usually involves a student being selected to complete an overseas study tour visiting significant historical sites and battlefields. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the tour was cancelled this year. Marian wishes to acknowledge the efforts of our three shortlisted finalists Bethany Dersch, Kyle Blackburn and Lachlan McDonald. That we were able to fi...eld three outstanding candidates reflects the academic calibre and commitment of our students. For students in Years 9 & 10 who are continuing their studies in History next year there will be an additional opportunity to apply for the scholarship. Please see your HSIE teacher for further details. CONGRATULATIONS Bethany, Kyle & Lachlan!
