25.01.2022 Handmade crematory urn. Made in Perth Western Australia. Pottery wheel turned sand coloured iron rich stoneware. Fired to 1280 Celcius. Vitrified. Features real gold on the lid tip. The gold is applied before the third firing. It is hand painted on the urn within an oil suspension. The oil burns away inside the kiln to reveal the gold. Emerald and mauve variegated glaze.
