24.01.2022 Today the children opted to go straight to the sand boat, was so great to see them playing in the boat again with the sand. Mr F was his first time in the sand boat . They chose what tools they wanted wether it be a scoop, large shell,bucket, small/large bowl.

12.01.2022 Family Day Care Educators from Launceston Family Day Care and Adventure Patch Family Day Care held their first combined conference on the weekend. This was a w...onderful opportunity for educators to come together to meet, learn and network. We had some fabulous guest speakers - Viv from the ECU, Pam, Sarah and Lyndsay from Emerge Allied Health and David Gilkes who is an education consultant. The Adventure Patch pop-up playgroup also made an appearance. There were some spirited jousting bouts and a North vs South tug of war. Julie Hemmings from Inclusion Support was also in attendance. On the day, she advised that we had been successful in receiving a grant to support addition training for our educators which will be mentored by Emerge Allied Health. What an amazing team we are part of!! 05.01.2022 Eye dropper fun with water based dye... Squeezing the end of the dropper was a challenge and letting go for the little drops .. Dropper painting! Develops fine motor, coordination, concentration, independence, creativity and colour recognition.

05.01.2022 Children just love the sand pit whether it’s dry or wet they don’t care. Mr J had been asking all morning to go in the sand . I told him if it stops raining after lunch you can go in so guess where he went after lunch .
