19.01.2022 So I have been quietly dying this past week,,,,,,, (well not quite dying, but have been feeling pretty shitty), it all began with a scratchy throat & sinus congestion,,,,,,,,,I normally shake illness off before it really sets in these days by being proactive with my oils, but this time I didn't. I guess we all get sick sometimes & it's been a little reminder for me to slow down & allow my body to rest . The congestion has just hung around & has left me with a super annoying c...ough . . I have been supporting myself with my oils & I thought I'd share with you which ones: . . DOUGLAS FIR Sourced from New Zealand this oil has expectorant qualities which helps with removal of mucus (gross right, but super helpful to me right now!) . LIME This zesty citrus oil has helped relieve my cough. Did you know that back in the day sailors drank lime juice to prevent scurvy? . CARDAMOM This oil is often overlooked, but I love it for its expectorant & decongestant properties Simply inhale to feel those airways open! . ONGUARD I'm sure you know all about this one by now, I talk about it ALL the time,,,,, but just in case,,,,,, Think of this one as a super hero for your immune system. It's one I use every single day applying morning & night (I keep it next to my toothbrush in a roller bottle as a little reminder) & at the first sign of illness I simply apply more often. I will literally carry a roller around with me & whenever I think about it, I apply. With it being a natural solution I do not have to worry about "taking too much". It helps our body heal itself using mother natures medicine . . BREATHE STICK Known as Easy Air Vapor Stick here in Australia (I got mine from the US warehouse). This one is an eco pre made salve which you wind up to apply to chest & back areas. It takes me back to my childhood when my Mum would cover me in a petroleum based salve (FYI I now know petroleum to be not so great for us!) . . As well as using the oils above I have made a conscious effort to rest, eat well with heaps of fruit & veg and been taking my DIY Wellness Syrup regularly (I will share that recipe tomorrow) . . Purity refers to whether an essential oil is composed entirely of aromatic volatile compounds (that i'll define as AVC’s from here) which is what essential oils actually ARE... What customers are not told is that AVC’s can be synthetically created, and they typically are. Pure essential oils can be on a scale from 100% synthetic, right through to just a small percentage but most people will never know because there is no regulation around this. 05.01.2022 My new favourite diffuser . . Laluz Ultrasonic Diffuser I love thee!!! .... The only way to get this baby atm is as part of the Convention Kit,,,,,, you get heaps of new products too before any one else can get their little mitts on them!!!! . . DM me for more details or check out my next post . . For now let me rave on about the "beautifullness" of this diffuser!!!! Its seriously soooooo good! . . Not only does it come in eco packaging, the main body is frosted glass,,,,,, the light options are super cool,,,, dim warm light, bright white, dim lavender, bright lavender,,,,,,,,, the output is supercharged to suit any room & it can go for up to eight hours when on the intermittent setting . . As per usual with our diffusers they come with a full years warranty, they switch off as soon as the water gets low & you have the option of switching off the light . . 04.01.2022 This adulting life is tough,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, . . Peter Pan was smart,,,,, but he didn't have dõTERRA .... . I feel so blessed to have my little magical bottles within arms reach to help me with everyday adulting #mumlife stuff,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, . .
