12.12.2021 MARIBYRNONG ORCHID SOCIETY SARCOCHILUS & ORCHID SHOW -13th, 14th November "It is with considerable sadness we are forced to notify members (and the public) that the Sarcochilus Festival & Orchid Show scheduled for November 13 & 14, has now officially been cancelled. The committee had been hoping this show could possibly be held, but with the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we have had to resign ourselves that this is now impossible. It has been another horrendous year for not just us, but all orchid clubs across Melbourne. All we can do is look toward to 2022 with optimism and hope. "

09.12.2021 The MOS committee is extremely disappointed to notify members that we will be unable to hold our November meeting on Tuesday the 9.11.21. We had been hoping and planning for the meeting to go ahead, but that no longer appears possible. We are closely monitoring council guidelines and when they allow for our return we will notify members. In the meantime this is Den. kingianum 'Highclere'.

30.11.2021 We regretfully announce the cancelation of the Sarcochilus Festival & Orchid Show that was due to be held on November 13 & 14. The safety of our members and visitors is paramount, and we feel it would be impossible to proceed safely. We look forward to an uninterrupted 2022 with guarded optimism.

28.11.2021 We have 50ltr bags of orchid bark for sale, but you must be quick because we don't have any large left, but we do have medium, small and only 3 bags of mini. It is $28 for members & $30 for non-members. Members can call Tony and Tim, or email [email protected] for any enquiries.

13.11.2021 What a disappointment the Spring Show is not on this weekend.We would be frantically processing orders right now, while other visitors would be admiring the many beautiful orchids on display. September is such a fantastic flowering month, with so many beautiful orchids to admire on club benches right across Victoria. So with that in mind I thought I would share some photos from past Spring Show's of 2018 & 2019.
