21.01.2022 Posting for a Maribyrnong resident- lost in the La Scala area near Jack's magazine. Please let us know if you find or see this much loved kitty.

19.01.2022 Due to the current Covid 19 lockdown of Maidstone and Maribyrnong, we can no longer have clients enter the building, other than to take payments at reception, and only one at a time. 1. Products and food items will be brought to reception. Please call from your car outside so staff can organise. 2. Clients with cat carriers and dogs on leads will be met at the at reception or outside by our nursing staff. ... Please call for exact details of handover. Once this is done, we request that you wait in your car or stay outside. 3. The Vet or nurse will call to discuss history, examinations and management. 4. Once the consultation is complete and any medications have been organised, staff will call you and request you to enter the clinic, settle the account and your pet will be given back to you. Please do not enter the clinic if there is already another person in reception, unless directed by staff. We thank you for your patience and co-operation. Our aim is to keep everyone safe at this stage, and hopefully things will improve in time, and in time we can get back to normality.

18.01.2022 To all our lovely clients. During stage 4 restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne you are asked to not travel further than 5 kms from your home. However, for veterinary care or collection of supplies from a veterinary clinic (medication, prescription food etc) you may travel outside your 5km zone. Please only one family member attending the clinic whether with a pet or otherwise. We thank everyone for helping us in these unprecedented times. We understand that new rules and regulations are tough and we sincerely thank all our clients for helping keep everyone safe.

16.01.2022 This old girl turned 19 today. Show us a photo of your old pets

15.01.2022 Notice to all our clients: Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus we are asking for your help to keep our staff and the general public safe so we can continue to provide the best care for your pets during this time. Please, if you are unwell or have any symptoms that could point to coronavirus (fever, coughing, runny nose, lethargy, sneezing, respiratory distress) we ask that you do not attend the clinic. We are of course happy to continue to treat your pets but please make arran...gements for someone else to bring them. We want to avoid having our staff get sick and needing to close the clinic so that we can continue to treat your pets as needed. There is hand sanitiser at the front door and we would appreciate if you use it upon entry and exit of the building. If we all work together and distance ourselves when unwell, we can all get through this together. Thankyou. Maribyrnong Vet Clinic. See more

15.01.2022 Lest we forget.

14.01.2022 If anyone has newspapers, our vet clinic is running low and we would appreciate them.... and for anyone who donates, if you could kindly remove the shiny bits ie the small inserts of junk mail, we would be doubly appreciative..... and our cats will say thank you as well.....

12.01.2022 Whether your children have two legs or four legs, you fill their lives with love. We wish you a safe and happy Mother's day.

10.01.2022 As the weather starts to cool down it's time to start thinking about where your pets sleep. Do they have somewhere warm and dry to spend the cold nights? If your dog sleeps outdoors consider putting extra blankets in their kennel on colder nights, raise the kennel off the ground, use a heat pad or warm (not boiling) hot water bottle, or consider moving them into a garage.

04.01.2022 Did you know that all parts of the lily are extremely toxic to cats? With mother's day coming up it's important that you don't gift bouquets that contain any type of lily to anyone who has a cat in their household. Check with your florist before sending so your beautiful gift doesn't end up costing someone their pet. If you would like more information on lily toxicity in cats head to the blog on our website: https://www.maribyrnongvet.com.au//Lilies-The-beautiful-fl

03.01.2022 This beautiful girl Riley came in to get desexed this week. She was a bit unhappy in her cage upon recovery and was crying for attention. Our wonderful nurse Jacqui gave her cuddles and she helped out with responding to the clinic emails. If anyone receives an email with "woof, woof, bark, grrr" this week, please forgive us.

03.01.2022 Happy Star Wars day!
