22.01.2022 Did you know Maridan’s Menagerie also rescue aquatic animals? It’s been 12 months since we set up this 8ft, 1500lr system to accommodate our more peaceful fish rescues. The plant growth during this time has been amazing and the fish couldn’t be happier check the comments to see what it looked like a year ago This tank is but one of 5 (soon to be 6) large scale tanks and ponds we have to accommodate our 300 odd rescued fish. ... 21.01.2022 This very photogenic pair is known as Vincent Van Goat and Bill Nye the Goat Guy. They arrived together a couple of years ago when their human could no longer care for them due to health issues, and quickly worked out how to outsmart our pigs at meal time. They also know how to tug on the heartstrings of our volunteers and visitors, thus opening up yet another venue for sourcing extra treats Be kind to all kinds. www.maridansmenagerie.org

20.01.2022 We would like to introduce everyone to a new weekly format called ‘Rehoming Wednesday’. Each Wednesday we’ll showcase animals at Maridan’s Menagerie seeking their forever home. It’s always a very difficult discussion to determine who to rehome, but it’s a function we must include if we hope to rescue more animals into the future.
