After all, we've worked hard to get where we are in life, we deserve the right to stand there and shout from the rooftops ... "WE ARE AWESOME .. WE ARE THE BEST AT WHAT WE DO!!" Right? Self recognition is a great tool in boosting our self-worth but it should be done with HUMILITY! It is okay to recognise your talents and/or gifts, but we need to remember that there is always... someone out there that is a tad better at it than we are ... that's how we keep learning. Life is our teacher and there is always homework to do ...!! To do something just for accolades alone is a dangerous path to embark on .. REMEMBER ... the higher we put OURSELVES on the pedestal, the further we have to fall.
