23.01.2022 Easter! Chocolate! Bunnies! Chickens! We are stocked with all sorts of Easter goodies for your enjoyment. There are little baskets full of eggs, specialty cards..., Bunny and chicken shaped cakes, Easter bunny biscuits, Baby bibs for those Easter Babies born over the weekend or who have their birthdays over Easter, small bags to gather those eggs in when on the egg hunt on Sunday, Easter bunny finger puppets, and decorated eggs. We will be open on Easter Saturday Sunday and Monday for that special purchase - 9:30 to 3:00. Card facilities are available but cash is preferred. Happy Easter to all our customers both old and new! We are open Saturdays and Sundays 9:30 t...o 3:30 and Public Holidays are reduced hours. We do prefer CASH but card facilities are available. These 2 ladies' products have already proved popular with our customers and we know our loyal and new customers will support them as we have been supported over our 25 years of providing handmade unique items for the enjoyment of all. We are open Saturdays and Sundays 9:30 to 3:30, Public Holidays 10-2. Card facilities are available but we do prefer cash. 19.01.2022 Welcome everyone to 2020! I know, it's already 6 weeks in but better late than never. We had a great Australia Day display of items Australian related, many happy customers buying for overseas. We have 2 new members - one for weaving using raffia with Native animal discarded pieces, i.e., dropped quills from echnidas, and one who makes crocheted collars of the unusual type together with slip on jumpers. Please some and see our new items together with our standard stock of handmade gifts for all occasions. We will be preparing for Mothers Day (I know, its a bit early), as well as for the coming winter with knitted/crocheted, embroidered items in the coming weeks. Get in early and get the the pick of the buys. Don't forget we are open Saturday & Sundays 9:30 to 4.

16.01.2022 Christmas has arrived at the Craft Nook and we have also extended our trading hours following on from the CVD19 restrictions. We have much for you to see both Christmas related and as a personal gift for that someone special. Our gifts are unique, handmade and made by local people - "Aussie made". Hours are 9:30-3:30 Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays. AND in December we are open on Fridays 10-2. Cash is preferred however card facilities are available for your convenience. We do request that you sanitise your hands when visiting and fill in your name and details as required by the regulations.

12.01.2022 We have been in the Shire for 25 years now and would like to thanks all those customers who have supported us with the purchase of our handmade items. It has brought us much joy to have our work appreciated. With Christmas approaching we will be open on Fridays 10-2 as well as our usual Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays 9:30-3:30. 11.01.2022 Well we are now coming up to our 3rd weekend since re-opening and it has been lovely to see all our customers both old and new. We would like to thank you all for taking care and using the hand sanitiser and practising social distancing while visiting our premises. We would like to stay open for both yours and our benefits, so please heed the health warnings as they are announced. Don't forget our new hours are 10-3 on Saturdays & Sundays for the winter. Our current highlight of handmades is "WINTER WOOLLIES" both inside and outside the shop. We look forward to you visiting!

09.01.2022 RE-OPENING THIS WEEKEND! We are excited to announce we will be re-opening on the weekend of SATURDAY 11TH JULY and SUNDAY 12TH JULY, after a long 4 months of cl...osure due to the Covid19 pandemic. Our UPDATED TIMES will be 10am to 3pm - reduced hours for the winter. Together with our re-opening there will be in place sanitising stations, physical distancing measures, and limits on customers because we have such small space in which you can browse. Your patience with the measures imposed will be appreciated. Many of our customers have been asking when are we opening - and now we can look forward to seeing you again. A reminder that although there are card facilities available, should you have the cash for your purchase, it would be greatly appreciated. You will also notice our updated sign and new items of stock for you to purchase. A refreshed look for a renewed start! 06.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 and the changes announced by the Government, we will be closing our little Craft Nook as from 28th March until further notice. BUT we will be back and therefore will see you all on the other side. Stay safe and healthy!

06.01.2022 As a celebration of Australia Day our display shows a range of Aussie related items from handtowels, peg bags, finger puppets, carry bags, souvenir hankerchief with hand crocheted edging. We are also introducing a new member with indigneous items of dot paintings and weavings taught to her by her grandfather. Other items in our shop to be explored are patchwork, ribbon embroidery, baby items, knitting /crochet (some using Australian wool), embroideries, pottery, hats, childrens dresses, biscuits and chocolates, childrens hand puppets, jewellery, cards and toys. A definite array of handmade goods. We are open 9:30 to 3:30 Saturday, Sunday and this AUSTRALIA Day 10-2. Card facilities are available but cash is preferred. We look forward to your visit.
