02.01.2022 A big thank-you to everyone in Coomera Waters who has worked with us through this challenging time to help minimise the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. The health and safety of our patients is our number one priority, and with that in mind we wanted to update you on some significant changes we are making: 1. Because viruses don't take the weekend off, neither do we. Dr. Roy will now be offering additional telehealth consultations on Saturdays and Sundays to address urgent... concerns amongst our existing patients. These appointments must be booked in online, as admin staff will not be available to take your phone call on the weekend. 2. As of today, all new appointments will be booked as telehealth consultations. If after speaking to a doctor it is determined that you require a procedure or physical examination you will then be offered an additional in person appointment at the clinic. 3. We will continue to treat acute medical emergencies, but wherever possible please call ahead and maintain adequate social distancing measures when you arrive. 4. Due to the risk of virus transmission, we have temporarily paused in person physiotherapy appointments at the clinic. Video/telephone consultations will be available for those who require any ongoing allied health services. 5. While the vast majority of our patients have been fantastic, we unfortunately have had a few individuals lie about their symptoms and travel history over the phone in order to get a face to face appointment. This type of behaviour puts everyone at risk, and moving forward we will have a zero tolerance policy. You will be permanently banned from attending our surgery if you are not honest when being triaged. Stay safe, we are all in this together! The MFMC staff
