04.01.2022 Environmental scientist Peri Coleman shares her analysis of the recent death of 35 hectares of vegetation near St Kilda. She believes that the management of the former saltfields is the probable cause. Mangroves and other saltmarsh vegetation were likely killed by hypersaline brine which leaked from the ponds.
