20.01.2022 Launched by Marine Rescue Commissioner Stacey Tannos, MRTV is our new online monthly online video magazine, showcasing our professionally skilled and dedicated volunteers and world-class vessels and equipment. Episodes will go online in the first week of the month on the Marine Rescue NSW YouTube channel via the MRNSW website. We will be joining Weekend Sunrise weather presenter James Tobin to share lots of great information, have a bit of fun, and step on board some of the Marine Rescue vessels that help to look out for you on the water.... 07.01.2022 Thanks to the mild weather and generally good boating conditions, Marine Rescue volunteers were kept busy up and down the NSW coast over the weekend. A total of 39 rescues were performed, of which 9 were emergencies, with a total of 79 people rescued. A big thank you to our dedicated volunteers for this wonderful effort.... And remember that if you are planning on heading out this weekend, to carry all required safety gear, and to Log On and Log Off with Marine Rescue on VHF Channel 16 or via the free Marine Rescue app.
