22.01.2022 This week we have explored Dreamtime stories and learned 'the rainbow song' in Auslan sign language. We also experimented with traditional indigenous painting styles, these artworks are the result of all our learning.

18.01.2022 Welcome! Marino Early Learners is a small, community based, family orientated child care centre that is family-owned and operated. We pride ourselves on providing the right foundations for your children as they grow, supporting their physical, emotional and academic development. Our low staff to children ratio well surpasses industry standards, meaning that we can focus on each child to ensure they grow to their full potential. Our comprehensive education program is inspired ...by the Reggio Emilio approach and is carefully designed and delivered by registered Early Childhood Teachers to showcase activities that make the most of our unique outdoor space to ignite each child’s passion for learning. Deliberately small, we ensure that our expert educators make a personal connection with you and your children and that we build a sense of community at our Centre. We are very proud of how we engage with our families and provide a supportive atmosphere for our children, so they are happy and healthy while developing their learning environment to prepare them for school. Please contact our friendly staff to find out more!

18.01.2022 So proud of our new Kindy room! We have renovated the original church building on our property into a bright, open and welcoming space for our Kindergarten aged children. Staffed by our two full time specialist early childhood teachers to provide our government approved universal access education program. We are looking forward to adding a new era of memories to this beautiful building.

15.01.2022 We had a very special visitor this week, Bryan from SA Ambulances visited us to tell us all about his job as a paramedic, how he helps people and to show us the ins and outs of the Ambulance. Bryan talked to the children about how they can feel safe and supported when being treated outside or in an ambulance and that he is there to help. The children had so much fun trying out the stretcher bed, putting a bandage on or testing their heart beat with the special machine. We lov...ed watching how the stretcher goes up and into the ambulance, as well as getting a special ride each. We all were lucky enough to have a turn getting into and sitting inside the ambulance, oh what fun! As a special goodbye, Bryan turned on the siren for all the children to hear. ‘That is so loud’ most of them said as he drove off. We are very fortunate and lucky to have such helpful community members and families to support our learning here at Marino. We can’t thank Bryan enough for opening up his ambulance for us! 04.01.2022 We would like to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all our Mothers and other Caregivers. We've had a wonderful day creating these masterpieces with all out love. We hope you have a wonderful day!

02.01.2022 Our children were so excited to go on an excursion down to the Marino Community Garden to see how well our plants are growing. We planted some parsley, capsicum and purple snow peas. The children were very eager to help dig holes for the plants and pat them in nice and gently. We gave them a big water and made sure to water our existing plants as well. We also had a taste of our cherry tomatoes they were delicious!! As we hadn’t been to the garden in a while, the carrots had grown so big that they were very tricky to pull out. As a team, we all pulled the carrots out and put them in a bucket, ready to take them back to Marino Early Learners. After our fun, we walked around the garden to see what other types of fruits and vegetables other people had planted. We spotted some pumpkins, strawberries, capsicums, celery and much more!

01.01.2022 If your kids seemed a little extra tired recently it my be because of all the fun we had with our Junior Ninja Warrior course. All age levels had their own courses to build balance and coordination. Great fun and great exercise, everyone was a winner!
