18.01.2022 Now is a great time to join this exciting industry.

15.01.2022 Marinus Link and the supporting North West Transmission Developments have reached an exciting milestone with the news that we have an agreement between the Tasmanian and Commonwealth Governments to complete the Design and Approvals phase of the project. TasNetworks CEO Lance Balcombe and Project Marinus General Manager Bess Clark joined the Prime Minister Scott Morrison and the Tasmanian Premier Peter Gutwein and Tasmanian State and Federal Energy Ministers at an event today. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreed by the Tasmanian and Commonwealth Governments will see the project receive an additional $132.9 million in funding to complete the current Design and Approvals phase. It also involves a jointly-owned Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) being established by 1 July 2021.

02.01.2022 The 3rd Tasmanian Major Projects Conference began yesterday and is wrapping up today (20-21 April) in Hobart. The conference is focussing on how Tasmania is maintaining momentum and investing for growth across a range of industries and sectors. Our GM Bess Clark spoke yesterday, as did Hydro Tasmania’s General Manager, Commercial Caroline Wykamp. Bess provided an update on where our project is at and the significant benefits Marinus Link can contribute in terms of jobs, economic stimulus and enabling the transition to a green energy future.
