21.01.2022 Facebook Tells me I was Last active 10 weeks ago ..... Oh My. I could give you a list of excuses - house fires, running 50 kms, teenage children, busy clinically, etc. but rather I would simply like to re-affirm my dedication to this worthwhile mission. My own learnings in the past few months have led me down the Qi Gong pathway, trauma workshops, and ongoing spiritual development. I love learning. It will never end. I found space this weekend to ponder and clarify the ma...ny thoughts that bounce around my head. I have a Persistent Pain Reframe that I would like to share tomorrow.... but for today I will simply share the next podcast in our series. Recorded with our local South West Orthopaedic Surgeon - Simon Smith. Simon was in his car, pulled over after a surf, doing what busy people do best - fitting me in. I think his story highlights that back pain affects people beyond demographics, beyond incomes, beyond intellectual levels, etc. And whilst one would naturally assume a Surgeon would head straight for surgery, it is reassuring to see that even surgeons try and delay Knife jobs. 17.01.2022 A light read.... Applies to the Back Pain journey more than most !

13.01.2022 Quick Promo chat (recorded in a storm power outage!) for the upcoming wellness symposium in our beautiful south west WA. All of this applies to BACK Pain more than anything else.....

05.01.2022 This is a HUGELY satisfying milestone for me. First it was one, then it was 10, today it is 25. How do we evolve a system of care that is outdated and (in my o...pinion) keeps people in pain? We create an alternative. We help people see that the thoughts in their heads and the emotions in their body need to be "treated" just as much as the abdominals in their core. There are so many people doing this, and doing it well. My goal was to SHARE their stories, so that others could be inspired and hopeful that healing was also possible for themselves. Why Back Pain? Why not ? Gotta start somewhere, and it is the epidemic we do not need to have. Costs the Australian economy $40 Billion dollars annually. More than Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes Combined. Think about THAT. Thank you to those 25 people. I would like to think the wheels are in motion.

04.01.2022 A Fresh Rant ..... the #newnormal....... When did we start accept chronic back pain as Normal ? As always - Don't hold back on the comments. Better to Express than Suppress!
