18.01.2022 We have all experienced the overwhelming feeling that life can create in times of turmoil. The storm seems to be all around us, raging through every cell of our body and atom of our being. However, in the midst of the storm we have a choice, the choice of where to focus our awareness and attention. We can choose to focus on the space and stillness between rain drops, flashes of lighting and rolling of thunder. In that stillness and space we can choose to just sit and watch th...e storm, connect with our breath, feel our breath as a single point of focus and through our breathing connect deeply into our body and space within, until eventually we notice that the storm is just an occurrence on the outside and doesn't define who we truly are on the inside. We can observe and allow it to pass, until the light shines through again, from within, our true nature. See more

14.01.2022 Really eye opening and empowering article on the body image that has crepted even into the Yoga community. It doesn't matter what body shape we have. Yoga isn't about creating a certain body shape or display as many fancy poses as possible. Yes, we aim to create a healthier us, balance and strength, however not to please the outside onlooker but to create a deep connection with and within ourselves to truly understand who we are.

14.01.2022 To have unshakeable trust that things will work out for everyone's highest good requieres for us to let go; let go of control and wanting to fix things in a way that we believe is right. Quite often, we cannot see all circumstances that are involved in the situation and therefore might just stand in our own way when the universe already has the perfect solution while all we need to do is step back and have faith; trust that no matter what happens, we'll be alright and our life will flow into the direction where we're meant to be, embracing the flow of life with an open heart and mind. Vajrapradama Mudra is a hand gesture (Hastha Mudra) that can assist us to find a sense of deep inner trust and self-confidence. https://www.yogapedia.com/definition/6874/vajrapradama-mudra

03.01.2022 It is easy to sometimes slip into negative thought patterns. All it takes is a spark. Our mind seems to take over and before we know it a river of negative thoughts flows through our mind and also through our body, turning into negative emotions. These thoughts and emotions create energetic vibrations throughout our body and auric field. They send out information and determine how we perceive ourselves and our reality. When we meditate regularly, we can train the mind to shif...t the focus to a single point of awareness, away from thoughts and outside stimuli. We connect with stillness within, a neutral ground, blank canvas where we realise that we are not our thoughts and have the power to direct them in any way we want, so when negtive thought patterns arise we can learn to shift our focus to a more positive perspective. Positive and joyful thoughts send out a vibration of a higher frequency into our body and auric field. We feel better, more positive, and will therefore also perceive ourselves and reality in a more positive light. See more

02.01.2022 "Divinity is both external and internal. It’s intrinsically related to nature. What is out there is in here. The experience of nature and the experience of the ...eternal inner worlds is the Divinity of Divinity, both outside and inside. It’s always an interplay of the two worlds. You find Divinity in the landscape, in the organisms, in the flowers, in the beauty of nature, and also in the eyes of other human beings. You find Divinity inside yourself when you are in your inner most silence. There you find this absolute beauty which seems to be beyond anything you can actually imagine. Revealed to us in these sacred moments, when we are inside ourself, open to revelation, is Divinity." Luis Eduardo Luna, (excerpt from @cosm_journal volume 9: Divinity) .
