Are you up for the challenge? Well lace up your walking shoes, and grab some friends (at a distance). A great way to keep active and have some fun during these times ! All you need is:... Supported by some amazing live acts including; Rachael Leahcar, Michael Griffiths and Jas French alongside the City of Marion Band and the Adelaide Allsorts Chorus. If that's not enough you can join in at home with our downloadable song sheet and sing so the neighbours can hear. The night ...would not be complete without a special visit from Santa. In addition we are pleased to collaborate with a suite of Community Performers providing experiences celebrating this festive season, including: Westminster Senior Vocal Ensemble St Elizabeths Church Vocalize Choir Kilparrin Teaching and Assessment School Marion Vineyard Christian Fellowship Suneden Specialist School ACH Group Sing for Joy Choir Paisley Park ELC The Birds are Spies The Carols event is over 30 years old at Glandore and quite the institution. We have had families bring their kids that now bring their grandkids meaning multiple generations have enjoyed these great annual events. In previous years the Carols would include a craft/gift fair, food trucks and free entertainment for the kids however we are excited to bring it in a new format to your loungerooms for 2020. Re-openings scheduled for Monday, 23 November are: Administration Centre on Sturt Road, Sturt Marion Outdoor Pool (at this stage only for lap swimming and rehabilitation in line with State Government directives) The Marion Neighbourhood Centres The City of Marion Libraries The Marion Cultural Centre The Living Kaurna Cultural Centre City Services on Marion Road, Mitchell Park Digital programs offered by libraries and neighbourhood centres will continue for the coming week. 04.01.2022 Due to the SA Health announcement of COVID 19 community transmissions in Adelaide, we are: 1. Having to withdraw our One on One computer service. These sessions are instead being offered as a free over the phone service until the in person sessions can resume. 2. Cancelling our in Centre exercise / fitness programs across our Centres but in some cases we are able to offer them virtually.
