24.01.2022 **POOL UPDATE** As per recent health restriction changes we are pleased to announce 'Lap Swimming' is back on from Monday morning . In addition opening hours have been modified to enable access to the facility for all our amazing and loyal swimmers between 6am and 8pm .... Thank you all for you patience and understanding . Also please ensure you book online prior to your arrival and do not attend more than 10mins prior to your session start time . 21.01.2022 The weather is warm and it is the perfect time to visit the Marion Outdoor Pool. We know you eagerly want to enjoy this recently upgraded facility and we want you to come just as much. At this stage current health restrictions have limited access to 'Lap Swimming', ONLY for fitness and rehabilitation. This does NOT include using a lap lane for recreational swimming.... We understand how frustrating this may be for you. If we all continue to be vigilant and follow the restrictions to the best of our ability we hope to be back to pre Covid accessibility before you know it. As soon as we can enable more use of the facility we will post on this page and welcome you back with open arms and elbow bumps. 13.01.2022 **Update from Recreation SA** Public Reminder - Recreational Swimming Statement. Temperatures today and over the weekend will rise to 40 degrees. Unfortunately due to current COVID-19 restrictions (in place until Tuesday 1st Dec), pools are NOT open for public access to recreational swimmers. They are only open for rehabilitation and fitness (lap swimming).... The advice from Recreation SA to avoid dissapointment is to: plan ahead, check to see if your desired centre is open and make a booking if required, ONLY to attend for fitness or rehabilitation swimming, come properly prepared if you do visit, and WATCH AROUND WATER to keep your family safe. Our centres would love to see you, and we value your business, but we may have to turn visitors away if you are not swimming for fitness or rehabilitation purposes. We can't wait to see you again once these restrictions have been lifted.
