01.01.2022 Seriously, exercise, but don’t do it just to 'LOSE WEIGHT"... Do it because you WANT to Do it because you ENJOY it Do it because it gives you ENERGY... Do it because it improves your MENTAL HEALTH Do it because it makes you FEEL GOOD Do it because you get to meet NEW PEOPLE Do it because you get to CHALLENGE yourself. Find ANY reason other than body composition just to make you exercise... Why? Because if you view exercise as a form of punishment, you will never enjoy it as much and you won’t be motivated to do it. One of the best analogy's I have read is - if a warthog is running from a lion its STRESS response and HORMONE response is very different to the warthog running towards dinner. Same action, very different hormonal state within the body. So next time you exercise, make sure you are running towards dinner, hungry and with energy and WANTING to do it, not away from the lion.
