13.01.2022 Interesting review of an accident on a cargo ship where containers were lost and damaged the vessel and the environment due to the crew not following procedures correctly. https://www.facebook.com/atsbgovau/videos/604991393677864/

13.01.2022 This weeks class were put through their paces by Our instructors Eric and Danielle for fire and Barry for Personal Survival Techniques. I am always happy to hear how first time Certificate of Safety Training students are working on their qualifications in pursuit of interesting roles from Superyacht Entrants to tourism Staff and Working on Tugs. It is also really great to hear the returning students feedback on how valuable it is to work with the equipment during the Refresher, something that is not possible in their work environments unless there is a disaster.

13.01.2022 It can sometimes be hard to see the benefit of reporting near misses, as they are perceived to be insignificant events, errors or misjudgements. However, near misses are actually an important way of identifying problems before they become a disaster. Working Boats Issue 20 #superyachts #maritimecareertraining #safetytraining
