19.01.2022 How to show off an exceptional Jetty

18.01.2022 Recent update from the Shire of Esperance relating to our work on the Esperance jetty

17.01.2022 Maritime Constructions was pleased to host the Governor of Western Australia, the Honourable Kim Beazley AC, and the President of the Shire of Esperance, Ian Mickel, at our Esperance Jetty Project this morning, as the governor walked the entire length of the jetty to view the dive platform at the end

17.01.2022 After Bent 12 was successfully installed, the crane commenced tracking back to land (as seen in picture) for modifications in preparation for the installation... of the next 320 metres of concrete decked jetty. Concrete panels continue to arrive in Esperance and once the crane is back in position over the water, panel deliveries to the jetty can commence. The construction sequence moving forward will be pile driving, headstock installation and then placement of the three concrete deck panels that span the distance between the bents. This sequence will be repeated for the next 250 metres before some slight adjustments are needed when the construction crew reach the much wider jetty head. 16.01.2022 Jetty Update - Recent weather conditions have been challenging on site, or at least over the water, in the last week. Maritime Constructions Pty Ltd crew have b...een busy with the installation and completion of Pile Bent 5 and the tracks extended from Bent 4 to Bent 5 to allow the crane to travel forward and prepare for installing the piling frame for the piles at Bent 6. A tool trolley, that follows behind the crane as the build moves forward, has been installed. The tool trolley will support the equipment, including the pile hammer, when not in use as work advances further from land. This is designed to reduce the need for the crane to travel backwards and make sure all equipment is within reach all vital in an efficient jetty build-out. Prior to the installation of the piles for Bent 6, the crane was used with a craw attachment to move some debris that was directly over where the pile needed to be. The removed debris was relocated immediately next to the area where piling occurred. Piling for Bent 6 was undertaken on Wednesday and preparations are underway to have the headstock welded into place. Once this is completed the pile frame will be lifted off to allow the crane to move forward and prepare for pile Bent 7. You can view the detailed design plans here http://ow.ly/WQ3l50AoA8f
