This was followed by sanding and filling of joints and applying the first of 4 undercoats.

19.01.2022 STOCKTON-NEWCASTLE FERRY MODEL STAGE TWO CLEANING. After a good clean removing years of dust the funnel and fittings were removed. Then the decks are repainted in the original colour.

12.01.2022 The Stockton -Newcastle ferry now complete and set in water scene. Many enjoyable hours restoring and placing the ferry in a scene and reminiscing of childhood memories.
