15.01.2022 The Viking Stool # about a year ago, my husband decided to do a workshop on making a stool. The project was to make a Viking stool. He was given a large log and a few hand tools. No power tools were allowed. By the end of the day he produced perfect sturdy Viking stool. Many puzzled over the shape until a boating friend said he thought the stool was designed so that it would not roll about on the Viking longboat when it was at sea. Could this be right? As a result of working on this basic stool Don was able to go on to make three elegant stools for our kitchen.
