21.01.2022 My current project - it's not as blue as it looks here! Facebook wouldn't let me post it because of the music that was playing in the background, so I've used one of my songs.
20.01.2022 Facebook is telling me that people who like Mark Burton art havent heard from me for a while, and unfortunately, thats true. Im not getting much time to paint at the moment, lots of music work and work work. And the painting I AM working on presently (when I do get time), isnt coming along without a struggle, so that doesnt help either. So in the meantime I thought Id post one from a while ago.
20.01.2022 I did see some good art in Melbourne though. Lots in the National Gallery The previous post was from the Ian Potter Gallery, which also had some good art, but I had to leave because of that other crap! Here are a couple of things I liked, though there are so many amazing artworks - and not a crappy display of badly dressed mannequins or other stupid 'installations' in sight.

20.01.2022 Whilst I was in Melbourne I visited the Ian Potter Gallery. Once more I was flabbergasted by the crap that was supposed to be 'art'. These guys quite possibly received grants for what was truly ludicrous,um, work. And whoever decided this was viable as art is just as deluded, but it's so commonplace! It's no wonder the average Joe thinks that art, and artists is a joke.... The longer I'm involved with art, the less I understand it....apparently. See more
19.01.2022 An oldy. 'Better check that top gate' Approx 25x50 cms (10"x20") (I think!)
19.01.2022 How amazing are these!!!
17.01.2022 The great thing about a photo is: it only takes me 1/60 of a second to take, plus 5 or so minutes to edit. Then is easily stored on my hard-drive...whereas a painting takes about a month, and is much more difficult to store! Still, I guess I've got room for both.
17.01.2022 Another one by Dan. The King of Shine.
17.01.2022 A more recent one: 'Whaddaya mean I'm adopted?'
