20.01.2022 - Boat Shed - Headed out last weekend when the storms were out and about. When I left the house, lightning was everywhere, but when I finally made it to a suitable location (ended up at the boat shed), the heavens opened and this was very soon after the rain; unfortunately much of the storm and lightning had disappeared by then. Still happy with this image.

14.01.2022 Been a long while between posts, but yesterday I had the motivation to get out for a shoot.. Super glad I did because the sky put on a show. There was an awesome rainbow although it wasn't the best position composition wise. You can still see it through the clouds.

07.01.2022 Went for a shoot last night up at the Pinnacles. Very interesting place at night but super awesome looking at all the stars in the milky way.

07.01.2022 Recent trip to Philippines. This beach was awesome!! Its called Nacpan Beach and is located 45 minutes from El Nido by motorbike on the Western Island of Palawan.

06.01.2022 Hi All... No more astro for the time being so I thought I'd share some more photos from my trip to Chile. We actually ventured into Argentina at the very bottom and these are some of the images from Perito Merino, a very large glacier near the small town of El Calafate. We did a mini-trekking walk over the glacier itself and the others are from the surrounding area. Amazing place!

05.01.2022 - The Fun House - I tried to make this into a fun image of the long-standing Brass Monkey Hotel in Northbridge, Western Australia. Standing on the corner of William Street and James Street, this intersection can be very busy and I thought the image would be made more powerful with a long exposure of the moving traffic. This image is made up of a number of other separate images to produce the final photo you see here. All images were captured at 15 seconds, f1...6 and ISO 100. 05.01.2022 This one from Yenyenning Lakes in the wheatbelt. The sky is super dark out that way and the conditions were perfect for some astro!

05.01.2022 Perito Merino, Argentina. Another one from the glacier. This glacier is part of the third biggest ice shelf in the world; third only to Greenland and of course, Antartica with the top spot. The glacier is around 50-60 metres high and moved forward about 10 cm per day. This photo from the main tourist platforms.

03.01.2022 No colour on this morning, so I went with the moody black and white look!! - Point Walter Jetty, Bicton - . This capture was a long exposure taken just after the sun had risen. There was a lot of high cloud and the colours from the sun were not showing through. The morning that was, suited dramatic black and white post processing.

03.01.2022 Today I decided to go down to Sorrento beach and catch some long exposure photo's. The morning had some nice colours available to capture and this was one of the best of the bunch! As always, post shares are appreciated. :-)
