19.01.2022 Last night I was one incredibly proud husband! At the start of NSW's lockdown back in March, my incredible wife Adla was devastated by the thought of local shops, cafes and restaurants going out of business, and rows and rows of empty stores becoming a reality. She could not sit idle, and so began her incredible community Facebook group #Georgesrivereats. Now with close to 2,700 members, Adla's small idea has become a community where positivity shines bright, and small busine...sses have the chance to promote themselves and each other. I am so incredibly proud of the amazing light Adla has shone on our local small businesses, many of whom were in attendance last night to surprise and celebrate her. Thank you to Rotary Club of Hurstville for honouring Adla with this well-deserved award.
