17.01.2022 Today was spent in the yards scanning our ewes. Sheep pregnancy scanning occurs at around 90 days after joining and is performed by a skilled operator using an ultrasound scanner. Pregnancy scanning is an important tool to understand the potential of the lambing season and to efficiently manage the ewe flock.... We finished on the maiden ewes this afternoon. Purchased from Bannaby Angus Stud, they both have ease of calving and excellent early growth rate genetics highly suitable to start our weaner cattle operation.
