19.01.2022 Some beautiful, fresh chicken from The Corner Chicken Shop at Queen Vic Market for our dinner tonight. Plate 1 was the chicken schnitzel Plate 2 was the chicken rissoles... We always have our protein with lots of salad or steamed vegetables on the side and some carbohydrates. The rice is about 1/2 cup - just enough carb in one serve in the evening if we aren't active. Ladies a balanced meal of protein, carbs and fat (olive oil on our salad) and HEAPS of plant based vegetables at dinner should fill you up so much that you don't get peckish after dinner or crave anything sweet. Lots of colour for nutritional variety (eat rainbows) and at least 2 cups of veggies at breakfast, lunch and dinner!! To be honest this was very similar to the meals I ate when bodybuilding minus the cheese and perhaps a little less protein. But if you eat this way, you'll not only lose body fat very very quickly but you'll be eating enough protein to support muscle growth from your workouts!
