20.01.2022 All the leaves are brown and down mostly, which provides us with a massive opportunity of a good carbon (brown) material to use in our compost. Remember to layer your brown material with green (nitrogen) material, such as grass clippings and old vegetable plants. Add some water (H2O) in between your layers and at the end, then I like to cover the top to help keep some heat in (especially over winter). Once these steps are done let the compost cook (preferably around the 60 ...degree mark) for 6 weeks and then turn over and re cook for another 6 weeks. 06.01.2022 What a weekend, thanks to @elephant_trail_race I’m stoked with how far I have come in 12months after last year being a crew member to this year DNF the 100mile but a new PR of 110kms and over 5500m elevation gain. I learnt a lot about myself, where my strengths and weaknesses are and what I need to improve on (walking up super steep slippery hills) thanks to my mates that came along and a special congratulations to @randy_andy94 for finishing his first Ultra... and @dillonrinn for breaking a world record carrying a 12.5kg weight vest over 100kms.
