19.01.2022 Just got back from spending the whole morning at the Sydney Disability Expo at the Sydney Showground. Spoke to every single organisation there that offered disa...bility employment. Really taken aback by the reception they all had for Chemism. A huge majority of organisations I spoke to were eager to create endorsements, collaborations and partnerships with our initiative. Up until 31, I only understood the significance of International Day of Disabled Persons to individuals with a disability on a ‘sympathetic level’. But my stroke threw me into ‘the thick of it’. And I now understand the significance of this day from an ‘empathetic level’. Because I’m experiencing the world through a vastly different lens. I find that I’m now excluded from a lot of the things I used to take for granted and was able to do. So, this day comes down to the basic need to be considered equally when it comes to all facets of life. And that ‘consideration’ simply includes equal access to everything physical and intellectual (products and services). Ages ago, Shannon Lee gave us a peek into her father’s character. When asked about Bruce Lee’s willingness to teach martial arts (physicality and philosophy) to absolutely everyone. He did not want anything in return from anyone. He just wanted us to become the best versions of ourselves.. This is the exact approach we’re taking with Chemism. We honestly expect nothing in return from the businesses developed on Chemism. Like percentage ownership, equity or IP rights. All that belongs solely to the business owner of the business. That’s why we ask ‘why predict the future, when you can create it?’. Because all we want to do is create that future that gives individuals with a disability better access to an intellectual practice like entrepreneurship/self-employment. That’s it. Which then allows them to live their lives to the fullest. To simply become the best versions of themselves. Have an awesome weekend everyone.

Instead, take advantage of the tools available to help you overcome it and carry on with your work, school and life commitments with confidence. #MarketingTempsAustralia #MarketingRecruitment #impostorsyndrome #selfdoubt #leadership
