15.01.2022 Our goal is to make good coffee accessible and exciting, simple to understand and appreciate, and easy to brew and enjoy. And that’s why we run our coffee brewing classes. If you haven’t been to one of them yet, you can expect a fun, practical and hands-on introduction (or refresher!) to specialty coffee. During the class our baristas and trainers share our favourite recipes and tips and answer all your coffee questions. Our classes are suitable for everyone, from newcomers to passionate home baristas, as well as professionals wanting to brush up on their brewing skills. 14.01.2022 This week we’re introducing a new coffee to our offering Los Palomos from Colombia! This coffee was produced by Léonardo Henao on his 10-hectare farm, Los Palomos (or ‘the doves’ in Spanish). Léo is also the Director of Coffee at Pergamino, our Colombian coffee-exporting partner, who we’ve been working with since 2016. This is one of the first coffees produced and exported by Finca Los Palomos, and we’re very excited to share this one with you. We’ve roasted Los Palomos for all filter brewing methods, and in the cup it has a juicy sweetness, with ripe cherry and blueberry notes. 09.01.2022 We’re so thrilled to have Sitio Canaã from Piatã, Brazil back in our line-up! This coffee was produced by 28-year-old Kleumon Silva Moreira who, despite his young age, has been working in the industry for over a decade. For most of that time Kleumon worked alongside Antônio Rigno, who’s widely regarded as the best producer in the Piatã area. We love Kleumon’s coffees and look forward to fresh arrivals from his farm every year. This lot is tasting so delicious, with notes of maple syrup and almond and a tangerine sweetness in the cup.
