21.01.2022 I have spent most of my adult life chasing jets or out in the scrub in Wollemi NP looking and helping preserve the vast amount of Rock Art sites that are there. To have been allowed the chance to capture an image of F/A-18 Hornet A21-23 "Worimi" over the traditional lands of the Worimi People in the lead up to #NAIDOCWeek is a very big moment for me.This scheme is in honour of our first Indigenous fighter pilot, Mr Len Waters. I don't post photo's of the Rock Art sites I hav...e seen, but I will say the amount of them and beauty is on par with any you have seen in the Top End. 15.01.2022 Since there was a good response to the Eagle photo I think you will understand more once you have seen the video of the whole time I was flying with the Eagle. I have been using a drone to document the fire damage to the areas close by. For this flight I was 1.5km from my take off spot when the footage kicks in, I have now flown with Eagles a few times and the only thing I can see is that they can't attack well from below so I try to keep the height advantage and never lose ...sight of them. What happens at the end is my return to home alarm went off and I lost sight of this Eagle for a few seconds. When I got him in my view you can see it has a lot of "Energy" and height so it was on. When the clip ends, I just turned around and zig zagged as fast as I could back to launch spot hoping I would get back. This is all at real speed and there was a fair amount of wind around and that's why the view bounces around ;) #Eagle #Dji #drone
