25.01.2022 The light pouring into @r_o_n_e's Omega Project this afternoon was Couldn't have been a better location than the walls of this beautiful, old and soon to be demolished house to showcase his work. #RoneOmega

25.01.2022 Squam Lake has been one of my favourite prints, and memories from what was a perfect day out in New Hampshire a few years ago. To make room for a new range of prints, @onefineprint is offering a decent discount on existing framed prints like this one. Send them a message if youre interested or want to see what else is still hanging around! ;)

25.01.2022 My infrared camera recently bit the dust, so have been taking a bit of a break from carrying cameras everywhere I go! My back has been super thankful. This was the last frame on the card #infraredphotography #notsnow

24.01.2022 This morning, our @melbourne_cm speaker @callumpreston just happened to have painted a mural right on our venue itself. Couldnt not snap a quick portrait of him out there! #cmmelb

24.01.2022 Always be scanning. W/ @mimobase

24.01.2022 Is this the Norwegian dream? Build a house on the water, with views of Hardangerjøkulen glacier. This place is stunning.

24.01.2022 Strolling around in Oslo's morning light. Love these buildings.

23.01.2022 Seeing the Northern lights has been on my bucket list for quite a while now and was one of the reasons for making this Iceland trip. Felt pretty lucky to have caught them so vividly on our first night on the road. Words and photos really can't describe how majestic and humbling they can be when they take over the sky.

23.01.2022 The train ride from Oslo to Bergen was just... just stop it already, Norway.

22.01.2022 Nothing more welcoming than the winter sun shining through the studio windows on these crispy mornings.

21.01.2022 I photographed @kitiyapalaskas book on Piñatas, Piñata Party earlier this year and its finally hitting the shelves! It was a real honour to have worked with Kit on this, her vibrant creativity and Piñata making skills really came through in the photos, which are some of the funnestest Ive ever worked on. Come along to the launch this Friday (13th Ooooh), there will be plenty of cake, Piñatas and good times. Hope to see you there! Friday 13 October ~ 27-29 Johnson Street, Collingwood #pinatapartybook

21.01.2022 Finally got my butt in gear early enough to secure a few spots to check out Pentridge prison for @openhousemelb today. As grim as it would have been to be a prisoner there, it was a such a stunning space with quite a history. #openhousemelb

21.01.2022 Ok, now you're just being dramatic.

21.01.2022 A quiet (but loud) moment with a stranger at Dettifoss. #dettifoss #Iceland

17.01.2022 Currently sitting at the airport after an epic road trip around Iceland with @mimobase. Never have I experienced landscapes so diverse in a single trip. From hiking on glaciers to waking through lava fields, I feel like we've been travelling for a year. This was what we saw at Fjallsárlón Glacial Lagoon. It was a wet couple of days in this area but made for a stunning landscape. I'll be sharing a few more of my favourite spots from from the trip soon. Couldn't help but snap a few thousand photos! #iceland #Fjallsárlón #skaftafell

16.01.2022 Ive been taking a little break in Hawaii and I think Ive just seen my future self in this legend. Strolling down the beach with a puppy in one arm and a poke bowl in the other. I cant wait to be you.

15.01.2022 The winding roads along Icelands Eastern coast take you through some of the most incredible landscapes. Literally. Had us constantly stopping and backtracking!

15.01.2022 Decided to dive back into my photos from Iceland today for @onefineprint and discovered some of my favourite moments were just from my point and shoot.

14.01.2022 We were out for a walk for golden hour, shooting by a foggy Lake Eildon when I jokingly suggested that someone should jump in. Thank you, Neil / @websitesarelovely , for sacrificing your feet for the sake of photography (and rocking the double denim all weekend). I can't wade to see your photos! Btw, this week I'll be featuring some of my favourite photographers and their images over on the @canonaustraliapro Instagram account. I've selected images and projects that stop me in my tracks and pull me in. Go check it out for a bit of inspiration.

14.01.2022 Falling in love with Iceland's beautiful creatures.

13.01.2022 I spent an incredible long weekend out in Lake Eildon hanging out, laughing lots and taking photos above the clouds with some of my favourite creative people. Couldn't ask for a more generous community of people to inspire me and bring me back to the roots of why I love photography. Thanks for the good times, Mothman crew.

13.01.2022 The conditions for driving were a bit wild when driving up through Northeastern Iceland. People weren't kidding when they said we'd need to hold to our doors to keep them from breaking off! Despite this, it was a wonderful drive out to Mývatn and hilarious trying to stand still in the wind and not get blown off of cliffs. This car came driving into frame at the perfect time, scroll for more of this incredible landscape. #iceland #Norðurþing @ Norðurþing

12.01.2022 Spent 4 days with a few creative mates out at Lake Eildon. Many thanks to our host John for stuffing us all in his troopy, and taking us out on his boat. While his advice to stand on the front while it was moving was a bit questionable, it sure was a lot of fun for @jessicabyphotos. I wish we had gotten two people on there to relive the King of the World scene from Titanic, pretty much compulsory for all water based excursions, although Im sure the boat would have nose dived to reenact the wrong scene.

11.01.2022 Its been almost year since meeting this clever girl on an epic road trip around Iceland. Hestur has now made it out of the misty fields and into print via @onefineprint, looking dang purty along side the beautiful furniture and objects from @anacastudio and @sisalla_interior_design. Hope it can find its way onto the walls of your home next! @ anaca studio

10.01.2022 Its the last weekend of One Fine Prints Autumn Showcase at 69 Smith St., Fitzroy. This crisp autumn view of the space will be missed by @onefineprint and @anacastudio, no doubt. But to celebrate an incredible 3 months, come down for a drink on Saturday from 4-6pm and check out some of the work! Ive got some very autumny prints hanging and you may just find something to keep you and your walls company this winter. Hope to see you there.

10.01.2022 I recently worked with Aer Design to create a set of hero images for Federation Square's Winter At Fed Square Campaign. I'm super proud to have worked on this, and to me it was a pretty solid representation and culmination of a number of personal projects that I have been working on over the years.

10.01.2022 Dark Mofo Lazerz

10.01.2022 Made it to Oslo, damn it's pretty.

08.01.2022 Ive got a new print! Available through @onefineprint, whos been taking us on a virtual trip to countries photographed by their artists. The latest being my home land, Japan. I miss it so much right now. Stay safe everyone!

07.01.2022 Spending a few days in a cute old cottage in the Grampians with some amazing afternoon light. @mimobase and I spent a few hours escaping the heat, setting up a few fun portraits and playing around with some ideas. I was reminded of how liberating and refreshing it can be to go into a shoot with no real plan, just working with the environment and what I have. Something I used to do a lot more of when I was starting out. Hoping to do this a lot more in 2019!

07.01.2022 People watching at @ngvmelbourne's Festival of Photography.

07.01.2022 Was back at @sideprojectsessions again this morning, working through some ideas for a few big commissioned still-lifes that Ill be shooting. I was digging through some archives, looking for some old cameras to incorporate into one of the pieces and found this beautiful old Yashica of @websitesarelovely. This was from a photographic getaway with a bunch of creative peeps out at Falls Creek, when we drove up into the mountains in search of snow.

05.01.2022 Wandering through #arboria this morning was stunning and had me feeling like a little blood cell.

04.01.2022 Spent another productive morning working my way through my forgotten archives at @sideprojectsessions. This was a surreal moment at Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon where we were taken out on a zodiac through the glacial icebergs as they slowly drifted out towards the ocean.

04.01.2022 Towards the end of our trip, one of the most memorable hikes was out at Dritvik Cove in West Iceland. We had been keeping an eye out for the remnants of an old Labyrinth in the area, which we never actually found! Among the ruins of this old fishing station though was this orange hut, standing out amongst the rugged Icelandic landscape as the glacier capped Snæfellsjökull momentarily peaked through the clouds. #Snæfellsnes #Iceland

02.01.2022 Spent a quiet Sunday morning co-working at @extraordinary_routines @sideprojectsessions attempting to delve deeper into my ever growing archive of forgotten photos. This was photographed on the stunning black sand beaches of Vik, Iceland. I had taken a few 13 second exposures, most of which sadly ended up with a bit of camera shake thanks to the relentless, buffeting winds. So I dedicated this mornings session to manually correcting the camera shake and have fallen in love with this image (and Iceland) all over again.

01.01.2022 A quick portrait of @chiliphilly this morning at his @melbourne_cm Creative Mornings talk, all about the winter shorts and Adidas. He was one of my #lobohandyseries subjects a few years back (scroll right). It was wonderful to hear all about his craft and where its been taking him since. #cmmelb @ TheCommons
