20.01.2022 When I had the opportunity to sit and attend the Dalby Pre Polling Centre and talk to the voters, I saw the LNP was really pushing this $300 rego rebate. I understand they are pushing this as a major issue all across the State. Surely people can see that this is nothing but a bribe to vote for the LNP. This is your money. Not theirs. If I was disingenuous, I'd offer a $500 rebate, heck $600. But I'm not, remember this is your money to begin with. Not the Governments money.... What will the LNP do when they run out of your money? Here's the real policy position, they should reduce registration costs for every year. That's what I would do. I'd get the Government to take their hands out of your pocket. 11.01.2022 I had an telephone interview today on ABC Southern Qld. I'll try to find a link. I was asked about Water Solutions. I talked about how farmers need to be able build more dams on there property and better utilise bore water for allowing their cattle to graze. ... I'm also supportive of a Bradfield Scheme. The host stated at the end of my statement, that I had to realise that bore water was only a finite resource. I replied by saying that the government failed by allowing the CSG Companies an almost unlimited amount of water for their mining. The Major Party candidates are beholden to Brisbane and they can't step away from the Party. Vote independent to get a real voice in government. 02.01.2022 I note the LNP Candidate is running a story she wrote from The Crossing on her facebook page. She says expresses her disappointment that the other candidates didn't attend a forum?. I didn't know it was on. I hadn't been contacted by anyone.... I've since learnt the Dalby Chamber of Commerce cancelled an event and so it was no doubt an unintentional error by the LNP candidate to fail to mention that no-one attended the cancelled function. I don't make errors like this, because I control my own diary. Some candidates are not party sponsored creatures and have young children, therefore cannot always attend every single event or respond to every single enquiry. I wasn’t asked any questions by the paper. I’ve asked The Crossing to make a correction. They say they rang me a four times on my ECQ supplied number. Well I had 7 messages on my message bank from Friday morning and none were The Crossing requesting to have a Final Word with them.
