24.01.2022 Here's a few more from Paynes Find and Coal Seam in our Midwest.
18.01.2022 We had some fun this evening at Paynes Find...something a bit different! :)
17.01.2022 We dropped in to see an old friend in Margaret River a couple of times over the weekend....Clive Wheatley On Saturday Clive showed me around the property and we went for a walk down Margaret River which his property backs onto and then today he treated us to a very nice lunch. Clive has spent the last 3 years developing this retreat and he is now offering the studio out as Air B&B accomodation and as he is an experienced Yoga Instructor there is also the option to expand your... retreat experience down there to include, Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi and other experiences as things evolve. So if you are looking for a relaxing escape then you can contact Clive and see what is on offer. 0437 304 448
17.01.2022 We drove through the Pilbara today and I put the drone up over a scene I believe optimises the look and contract of the Pilbara. It just goes to show you can get a reasonable shot in harsh light if need be!
13.01.2022 This is the Nikon version of the iPhone shot yesterday and a steel blue abstract from Shark Bay.
08.01.2022 Rings over the Canola! We had fun tonight up past Mingenew
08.01.2022 Good morning! Here are a few more images from 80 mile beach and Shark Bay.
07.01.2022 More Canola Gold! :)
04.01.2022 A little baby Wallaby feeding just outside our balcony just now. With it was an amazing show of the symbiotic relationship between animals and birds. Outside there is a Tropical Tree with Yellow flowers that obviously have a sweet nectar as it hs honey sucker birds all over it.... As the birds suck the nectar they often break the flower from the tree and the flower falls to the ground. The Wallabies obviously like the sweet flowers as well and there were 2 of the older ones canvasing the bottom for these tasty little droppings! Fun to sit and watch for a little while.
04.01.2022 The Drone is the only way to really get up high enough to appreciate things like the beautiful Canola Fields in the mid west at the moment and it was certainly handy to capture the Ophthalmia Dam in Mt Newman. Damn shame there was a nasty algae bloom in the dam so no swimming!
03.01.2022 This is a vertical stitch of the Port of Cossack: In May 1863, Walter Padbury landed his stock at the mouth of the Harding River near the present site of Cossack. Cossack was first known as Tien Tsin Harbour, after the barque that carried Padbury and his party. The ship that brought the state's Governor, Frederick Weld, in December 1871 was named HMS Cossack and the town adopted this name in 1872. Cossack was the first port in the North West, and was critical to the development of the pastoral industry in the region.
02.01.2022 My first flower shot from the Midwest Trip recently
01.01.2022 On our way down from Broome on the Inland route we passed Lake Austin with some epic light dancing over the mud flats, so I put up the drone and captured this image.
