12.01.2022 It saddens me that some people think that they can just take something someone has put so much effort and time into for everyone to enjoy. This mosaic bowl has sat in the common area of the Marley St Complex so everyone could have a nice garden to sit and gather their thoughts but has now been stolen. This is a large and very heavy bowl, so would have taken some effort to remove. If anyone has any information could you please get in touch and let us know, we would love to have the bowl returned to where it belongs. Phone: 51432006 or message us through here

12.01.2022 #NHW2020 What a wonderful showcase of the work Neighbourhood Houses do.

10.01.2022 Dont forget to get all your daily nutrient needs, drink plenty of water and get that sweet sweet exercise! Its super important to be fueling our bodies with the correct nutrients and minerals! Fruits and veggies dont just taste amazing but they also provide us with the energy we need to do the day to day living! Not to mention they keep our brains happy and healthy! They can even help prevent horrible chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease or type 2 diabetes!! Not... sure how much is in a serve or how many serves you should be having? Thats a fair thought, healthy foods and intakes can be very daunting and overwhelming at the best of time! Have a play with the Eat for Health calculators and they will give you a little more insight! And dont forget the swap out method! If youre craving a piece of chocolate have a piece of fruit, Id youre craving a soft drink have a glass of soda water and cordial or even a splash of fresh lemon juice and some mint! Have a wonderful and safe day!!! https://www.eatforhealth.gov.au/eat-health-calculators

09.01.2022 Have you seen the Marley Street Unit desert themed mural??? A few very special people have dedicated their time to create a gorgeous, colourful and fresh desert themed mural. The colours bring life to a cold, dull space. It speaks volumes about the strength, integrity and wiliness of the human spirit, there is always colour and life, even in a desert. Well done to those who helped create this beautiful piece!! If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and go have a look
