25.01.2022 Last week saw us fishing the Bluewater light tackle tournament with anglers Geoff Ellens, Emile Ellens and Aaron from South Australia. With 83 billfish tagged between the 33 boats competing we ended up chipping away with 8 billfish over the 3 days to take out champion team, champion boat over 7.5m (professional) and Geoff Ellens took out champion angler!!! A big shout out to the Cairns Bluewater game fishing club, committee members, sponsors and all competing boats for another great tournament. Also to Robert Erskine once again mate great work on preso night! A big congrats to Geoff, Emile and Aaron you guys did an amazing job not to mention Aaron catching his first sailfish and black marlin! Last but not least my crewman Conor once again mate well done!! To win this tournament 3 years in a row is not easy against such a good fleet.

05.01.2022 At the start of last year's 30-day charter, we all had a bet on how many marlins will be caught. To our surprise, Sharky called 147 while most were guessing in the 120 range. Well, He was right and won the bet. Cheers!
