25.01.2022 I had a busy day planned getting everything ready for launch next week but the sunshine was calling my name too loudly today! Looks like nighttime is now work time. Oh well, was totally worth it! Hope you all had a fab day leading into one of the best weekends of the year. ... Why is it one of the best weekends I hear you ask??? Because.....DAYLIGHT SAVINGS starts on Sunday! Woohoo!! I just love this time of year! What about you? Are you a lover of the long days daylight savings brings or do you prefer the cosy winter months?

22.01.2022 Yay!! The sun is out again today, and as much as I would prefer to be lounging poolside than stuck inside looking at a computer screen, its still an instant mood booster and I’m loving it! 18.01.2022 I spent a lot of today working on my laptop outside and it was so nice. I had a moment where I found myself looking at the cushions I’ve created and I was just so happy that I’ve made it this far. Who knows what’s in store for the future. All I know is I’m exactly where I’m meant to be and that is the best feeling!

16.01.2022 Well what a long year this week has been! A few ups, a couple of downs and some more waiting. Waiting for lockdown to be over, waiting for deliveries, waiting for answers to important questions and waiting to be able to release Miss Aria (and her friends) into the wild! Originally I was planning to launch early September, then it was the middle of September, now I’m just hoping it’ll at least be by the end of September! Just sorting out a few last minute fabric supply issues (thanks Covid) and once that’s ironed out it won’t be far off at all. Promise!!

16.01.2022 As mentioned in my stories earlier today, I have some new art on its way to me for our next release (which might not be until the new year but we’ll see how we go). It’s super exciting and I can’t wait to show you guys who our next collab is but you’ll just have to wait a little longer! I’m a massive Disney fan and have a Walt Disney quote tattooed on my arm. ... 4. The one and only time I’ve ever seen snow was in Switzerland. 13.01.2022 This is a beautiful example of how our outdoor cushions can be used indoors! Because they are made from 100% linen they are definitely soft enough to be enjoyed indoors also. Although these look amazing on our wonderful customers bed, I’ve been told this is just their temporary home while the outdoor area is being finished. ... Do you love this look as much as I do?

11.01.2022 So why did I start Marlo & Co Living? For those of you who don’t know, I already have a little gift shop that I opened almost a year ago. It wasn’t long after opening the physical store that I realised that whilst I loved selling beautiful creations from amazing small businesses around the country, I was also inspired to create my own little something... The idea of an Outdoor Cushion range came to me quite quickly as I new I’d had trouble finding unique designs in the past.... They all kind of looked the same to me. Also, finding a quality product that could actually survive being outdoors seemed almost impossible. Combine that with my love of homewares and it was a match made in decorating heaven. Fast forward a year and here we are! The idea has definitely evolved since it first popped into my head all those months ago but I can honestly say that I LOVE these cushions and I am proud of what I have created. Now, the other main reason for starting Marlo & Co is a little, now 18month old, boy who has turned my world upside down in the best way possible and has inspired me to create a lifestyle that will eventually allow us to spend as much time together as possible. Arlo is my little biz sidekick and he is definitely the driving force behind my desire to strive for more in life and as such, it was only fitting that he got pride of place in the business name (sorry husband ). Anyway, I hope this gives you a little insight into the ‘why’ behind M&C and I look forward to sharing the ride with you all. Thank you so much for being here. Miranda xx

I have absolutely everything crossed that I’ll have a date soon, but until I’m confident that everything is in order and I can provide the service that I’m aiming for, I’m just not prepared to commit to anything.
