06.01.2022 What a fabulous night for Jo and her crew Lara Wetlands. The weather was great, the setting was superb and the crowd were thoughtful and understanding. Especially as Blackall lost power early Saturday morning and the poor baker couldn’t do up my bread order! With limited supplies we got through the night and brekky with plenty to spare as so many came forward with bread etc to help us out! I’ve put a few photos up of the food and my wonderful helpers. I couldn’t have done the job without them. Thanks Holly Davison, Lachy Davison, Riley Davison and my nephew Jonah Austin. I can’t forget my husband Hinzy (Allan Hinds), he toils away for me, cleans up, lifts heavy things and gets drunk really quickly! 02.01.2022 A fabulous morning at St Joseph’s with the Opening and Blessings of all the new buildings and renovations about the school. I had the privilege of providing the kids, guests, community members and teachers with treats for the event. Even the scones looked great with the sultanas (Not sultanas, flies!). But my highlight was when one young lad came up to me, stood by my side for a bit and then asked me if I was the big boss of the whole school.
