25.01.2022 The Marong Football Netball Club is looking for a casual cleaner to work of a Friday for 2-3 hours prior to every home game. The successful candidate must be reliable, efficient and motivated. Hourly rate to be negotiated.

21.01.2022 NETBALL UMPIRES WANTED Marong Football Netball Club are seeking badged netball umpires (or umpires working towards their badge) to umpire our senior netball games for season 2021. Payment for all games and travel for away games included. Home games are played at Discover Marong Park (Malone Park).... Our senior grades consist of A, B, C and C Reserve. We can also offer junior umpiring, our junior grades consist of U17’s, U15’s, U13’s & Mini’s. However, umpires can only be rostered for a max of 2 games per day. 07.01.2022 MUST WATCH #TBT to the Wedderburn Sulky Relay! Rewind the calendar back to 2012, when the Wedderburn & District Harness Racing Club hosted a Sulky Relay Challenge with the 1st prize being a brand new Holden Barina! ... Entry was open to all sporting teams who competed in either the Loddon Valley Football League or the North Central Football League. The relay teams were made up of 8 people carrying a 9th member around the 800 metre track in a harness racing sulky. Training in the lead up was fierce with Marong entering 2 sides into the relay. Surely it was in the bag with dedication the panthers had shown to race day preparation? We can’t quite pin point what went wrong on the day, other than to say maybe the road trip over to Wedderburn didn’t help? Technically a DNF due to the 9th member not being in the sulky when we crossed the finish line... 2nd is still a good effort for a fun community day out, when we aren’t being technical! #panthers12 #harnessracing Wedderburn harness racing club #throwbackthursday

04.01.2022 NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION NOTICE is hereby given that at the Annual General Meeting of The Marong Football Netball Club Inc. to be held at Discover Marong Park clubrooms on Monday 14th December at 7:00pm that the business of the meeting will include the following Special Resolution, proposed by the Committee of the Club for consideration, and if thought fit, passing by the members in attendance and entitled to vote at the meeting. SPECIAL RESOLUTION... That the Constitution of Marong Football Netball Club Inc. in the form presented to the Annual General Meeting and initialled by the Chairman of the Annual General Meeting be adopted as the Constitution of the Club in substitution for and to the exclusion of the Club’s existing Constitution. He’s got a few nicknames, but tonight we’re gonna go with Big Papi, that’s right ladies and gentleman it’s the man himself... HARRY GRAHAM!
