23.01.2022 Today is the feast day of St. John Paul II which marks the anniversary of the inauguration of his pontificate. Born Karol Józef Wojtya in Poland in 1920, he was one of the most popular and well-loved Pontiffs of this generation and his pontificate of more than 26 years was the third longest in history. He died in Vatican City in 2005, was canonised in 2014, was the first non-Italian pope in 455 years and the first from a Slavic country. He is the patron saint of the Archdi...ocese of Kraków, World Youth Day (Co-Patron), young Catholics and families. St. John Paul II, pray for us. Caption by The South Australian Catholics Page

12.01.2022 Created for love On Sunday night the youth were privileged enough to listen to Monsignor Emmanuel talk about the importance of love as we were created in the image and likeness of God the Father. The night allowed the youth to gain more insight into the reason why we were created and our spiritual purpose. Faith formation is an eye opening, spiritual event where we have the opportunity to ask questions about our faith and gain knowledge and spiritual guidance. We encourag...e everyone to attend this event on the first Sunday of every month after the 630pm youth mass. God Bless you all !

The Maronite Church around the world will be united in prayer and fasting with the Holy Father and our brothers and sisters of all faiths and religions. I invite you, as part of the Maronite Catholic Church, united with the Holy Father, to dedicate time tomorrow for prayer, to fast and to carry out an act of charity or mercy towards somebody in need.
