14.01.2022 A huge thanks to Brett Jankowiak from Impact Insurance www.impact-insurance.com.au for reviewing our clubs general insurance. 14.01.2022 SENIOR REGISTRATION AND FEES SEASON 2020-21: With our season proper now only 5 weeks away from starting (excluding 1st Grades upcoming T20’s), it is that time of the year that we need all players to sign on the dotted line and commit to playing again this year. We are going to do things a little different this season, in anticipation of all registrations being online next season. We need all players to access a registration form here on Facebook or go to the club website - S...enior Cricket/Seniors Registration Forms 2020-21 and print themselves a set of registration forms out (note: if no new clothing required, just the first page), complete the form and drop it at the club, or more preferably email it to Ritchie [email protected] We would like everyone to start forwarding registration forms over the next week please, as team nominations are due by the 11th Sept, and we need to know our team numbers. Fees this year will be as follows: Players 21 y.o and over - $510 ($30 discount applies if paid by 21st Oct) Players Under 21 y.o - $410 ($30 discount applies if paid by 21st Oct) Juniors wishing playing Senior Cricket as well as Juniors - $150 (but only if full Junior fees have been paid), otherwise as above. So, whilst we want ALL your registration forms as soon as possible please, due to COVID we are making a change to when fees are paid. Fees will be payable in full between the dates of the 1st October and the 21st October, 2020. We would really appreciate to assist the club in this time, that fees are PAID IN FULL PLEASE!!!! Senior Committee Members will be available to collect your payments from the 1st October onwards, fees not paid by the 21st October will not allow ongoing selection. So, slight changes to previous seasons at this time, but we ask you all to respect the committee’s decision in the very difficult financial times. Looking forward to seeing all your registration forms flowing through over the next week. See more

02.01.2022 Sunsets before a cricket game is a sight we could get use to.

02.01.2022 CALLING ALL LADIES: Last season, for the very first time, our club entered a team in the Women’s T20 competition. The team consisted of a large range of ages and everyone just loved it, so we are hoping to get some more ladies interested in joining in with us this season. Games are played fortnightly on a Sunday morning. It is the T20 format so matches are finished by lunch time. The games are played with great spirit and the emphasis is on playing and having some fun toge...ther. Whilst it is competitive, we are not playing for "sheep stations" and encourage all skill levels. As well as the fortnightly game the players usually train for an hour or so twice a week. The season starts in early October. We recognise that not every one might be able to play every game of the season so we are looking to build a squad of players to ensure we can submit a team each week. No cricket experience is required so if you would like to give it a go and spend some time with others who share your interest, then please register to play with our team via this link - https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details OR Get in touch with Club Secretary, Trish Belt, who plays in the team. Her contact details are: Email:- [email protected] Phone:- 0417 779 333 Women's Cricket - Take some time for yourself, have some fun and learn a new skill - all ages welcome.

01.01.2022 NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS: The club is pleased to announce that in conjunction with the local scouts we have made getting rid of your eligible containers easy. With your support this program can become a significant fund raiser for the club and that of course helps to keep other costs down such as registration and other fees. To make this easy we have made it simple.... All you need to do is bring your eligible containers to the club at anytime and dump them into the big red recycling bin you will find there. No need to sort them but please only dump eligible containers. That is the containers that are marked as eligible for containers for change recycling. So if you are just throwing these containers in your fortnightly recycle bin then maybe you can just put them in a bag or a tub and drop them off in the recycling bin every now and again. See more
