22.01.2022 Our Joe Devine has just won the Central Division Humorous Speech Contest! A brilliant speech, and so funny! Congratulations, Joe!!!

21.01.2022 Maroochydore Club made an excellent contribution to our new Area, Number 16, Conference on Saturday: Joe Devine was clearly a winner in the Humorous Contest, regaling the audience with a terrifying Huntsman spider encounter. Celia Fuller, our newest member, achieved third place in Table Topics; and Glyni Cumming ditto in Evaluation. Kim Hennessy was everywhere, providing wine for a raffle, judging and tally counting. Glyni was secretary for the Council Meeting, and, having volunteered to provide morning and afternoon tea, left Geoff Bailey to come up trumps with a feast for all, including freshly baked sausage rolls, and pancakes with jam and cream. Yum!
