24.01.2022 **CANTEEN NEWS ** Hi families We are working hard at the club to ensure everyone's safety and well being and putting in place the covid safe rules we need to adhere to for our club & canteen this season. We also want to make our menu the best we can, and give our families a good, cost effective meal and the end of the night. Last season's menu was great so we won't be changing too much and our infamous chicken burgers will be back!! But we would love to hear any suggestions you may have. We already have a few, crispy chicken & salad wrap, pie & chips and possibly a homemade monthly special. But we would love to hear from our families and what you want from us in the canteen x

16.01.2022 COACHING REMINDER: Monday afternoons 4 - 5.30pm is dedicated to Long Jump and the 3 throwing events - shot put, discus and javelin. Come along and learn the skills of these events to assist you achieve your personal best performances. Wednesday afternoons 4 - 5pm, for the next 3 weeks, is dedicated to track relay events for those athletes who have qualified for State Relays to be held in Brisbane on 12th December. All members are asked to attend.

16.01.2022 Friday 25 September - Week One Program https://maroochylittleathletics.org.au/competition/ There is a designated table on arrival for all parents & or visitors to check in on Eva App or sign in manually, Covid requirements apply sanitisation & social distancing when not in the field of play Athletes are not required to sign in as they are listed on recording sheets... Collection of Registration bags, athlete numbers & any uniform requirements from 5pm until 5.30pm. Registrations are to be done On-line prior to attendance on Friday nights. However, new Trialist athletes are required to sign on at the shed at a fee of $10 between 5.00pm and 5.30pm. All athletes MUST be wearing enclosed footwear, no shoes, no comp. Canteen orders will be taken from 5.15pm. We are looking for at least two volunteers to assist Bradley with the set up of the hurdles prior to competition each evening if you can help please be there by 5pm and report to either Ryan (Facilities officer) or Bradley (Starter) . Your assistance will be much appreciated. Thank you.

16.01.2022 So excited to have the guys at Next Level - High Ropes Adventure Park on board for our Christmas raffle. They have very generously donated a family pass to Sunshine coast newest, coolest attraction We thank you guys for being awesome Next level is Australia's largest high ropes course on poles and is conveniently situated at the Sunshine plaza, Maroochydore. Next Level consists of three, 22m high hexagonal steel towers, interconnected by kilometres of cable, ropes and timber and has a 360 view over Maroochydore & Cornmeal Creek. Sunshine coast newest attraction is perfect for all ages and abilities from 6yrs and up and has 4 challenging levels. Harnessed on for safety you can zipline 130 metres over cornmeal creek to the next level.

06.01.2022 To all our families, friends and supporters - As we get closer to the start of our season we are planning and implementing all the advice from QLD Health and LAQ to make sure we are a Covid Safe Centre - Remember we need your help to ensure this happens at our weekly meets and coaching sessions. Our Centre will be operating under a QLD Government Covid Safe Industry Plan for Outdoor Sports and our Canteen has to operate under a QLD Government Covid Safe Checklist for seated dining and drinking.
