Kathy started with the organisation in 1980 and has been working as a receptionist at the Ringwood centre on Charter St since 2002. I have worked with fabulous staff and have made lifelong friendships over my working career here at Lifeblood and I love the interaction with the donors; they are ...wonderful," she said. 19.01.2022 Great news for the SES Maroondah Unit - who have scored $300,000 in State Government funding to upgrade their Croydon base, particularly its leaky roof. The unit's Kevin Poile (centre) said the grant would greatly benefit the unit and its 50+ volunteers, who have been based in the same location since 1987. The funding is being provided through the government's Emergency Services Refurbishment Fund, and Eastern Metropolitan state Labor MP Sonja Terpstra MP said it would "improve the condition of critical infrastructure at the Maroondah SES and ensure they will be able to continue their incredible work keeping the community safe".
