22.01.2022 URGENT : All Basketball Victoria related programs, events and leagues suspended Basketball Victoria has made the decision to suspend Basketball Victoria related programs, events and leagues from now March 13, until further notice. This includes ALL VJBL games, Big V games and the Country Championships being held in Ballarat this weekend. As this is a rapidly evolving situation, we would like to thank everyone for their understanding and patience as we work through this diffic...ult period. This is a decision we dont take lightly and want to reassure the basketball community that we will continue to work with the Victorian Government and other health authorities to ensure the health and wellbeing of our players, coaches, referees and staff are maintained. Further updates will be provided in the coming days and weeks. " In addition - Kilsyth have said "All games played with K&MDBA from 7-00pm tonight will be cancelled until further notice.NO GAMES AFTER 7-00PM TONIGHT." So - no basketball until further notice. 17.01.2022 With the suspension of Kilsyth Basketball competitions, programs and casual shooting etc, it has now been announced that the 2020 Domestic Winter Season has been officially cancelled. At this stage, it is anticipated that Summer season will begin late August/September , once we have the official word from Kilsyth, Victorian Government and Basketball Victoria. ... 02.01.2022 Summer 2019/20 Season Finals Kilsyth Basketball have advised that the Summer 2019-20 season finals will not be played. This is because of the closure of Kilsyth Basketball for at least the period of the State of Emergency. Instead, Premiers and Runners Up flags will be given to the teams that finished 1st and 2nd on the ladder prior to any finals games. We will let the teams know when the flags will be available for presentation/collection. ... As yet, we have not had any update on the winter season but will keep you informed of any decisions....
