24.01.2022 Ngawan and Biik group families have been busy at home with the learning resource packs provided, our educators intentionally chose materials that could be used in a variety of ways to support play based learning. We have really enjoyed the materials you sent home recently. The buttons were a hit with both kids and kept them occupied for a good half hour one day as they sorted, moved and placed them in different ways on the grid and in containers and scoops. Both have also enjoyed threading things recently. Ngawan group family.

24.01.2022 Today the Biik group children created stunning artworks and special messages to send to our Finlayson Friends at Donwood Community Aged Care Services Inc who we cannot visit at the moment. The children showed a special sense of reflection and kindness as they worked, building relationships with those beyond our kinder gates.

23.01.2022 Biik group are already hand washing experts - if you have a Biik group member in your household you might have already been what you're doing wrong when you wash your hands! In this video, Emma Wiggle and her friend Sue Jo Wright sing the Hand Washing Song in Auslan. Particularly fun for those who might be missing Auslan at kinder.

23.01.2022 Thank you to our wonderful community who came along to Bunnings to support us on Sunday.

21.01.2022 This week our educators were overjoyed to welcome Ngawan and Biik group back to kinder. Biik group had the opportunity to make their own 'Maroondahville' figures with materials sent home in packs from kinder. Our little Maroondahville community is already growing!

20.01.2022 Keeping your body active every day is not only important for our physical health, but also helps our minds feel better too! For many of us at the moment being confined at home we are getting less incidental activity - and our children are too. When it's too wet to get outside, or to mix up your routine a little, you could try letting the kids pick a dance to learn.

20.01.2022 Please come along to our working bee on Sunday 17th November. Any and all family members welcome, we'd love to see you there!

20.01.2022 At home families, your packs are ready to collect from kinder today or tomorrow (7th and 8th) between 8.30am - 2pm

20.01.2022 Last year Biik group attended a workshop run by Aunty Irene Norman. The generous sharing of information was very engaging for the children and it became an excellent way to open interesting conversations.

19.01.2022 Some beautiful feedback from a Ngawan group (our 3 year old group) family: "We didn't think kinder could be all that different. how wrong we were and how pleased we are that we made the right choice. Our child thrives on routine and structure and wakes up happy every kinder morning."
