22.01.2022 Look.MOEC staff had a visitor yesterday afternoon. This carpet python regularly passes through The Centre and many of the students have been able to see her, along with possums and the ever present koalas, kangaroos and even frilly necked lizards. What a privilege to have these native animals at camp!

15.01.2022 Hello and Greetings everyone, Well 2 days on after the Light up Your Driveway at Dawn campaign organised by the RSL. What an incredible morning that was for everyone who participated. Neighbours talking to each other possibly for the first time, streets decorated with flags, candles, candles an posters on letterboxes, and people of all ages who could play a musical instrument playing the haunting sounds of the Last Post and Reveille. It may have been the first time some pe...ople have been to a Dawn Service, but I am sure they were richly reward with what was happening in their street. Truly all the street gatherings were a show of community and Aussie spirit and teamwork. Everyone came together with a single aim. Many MOEC staff live on properties, and of course their driveways are a long way apart......but of course they all wanted to participate. It was very beautiful seeing the glow of candles and hearing the Last Post and Reveille from neighbouring farm driveways. So, this awesome and memorable morning will certainly go down as one of the best ever. Lest we forget - We will remember them. Did you all do the driveway candle vigil? Please let us know - we would love to hear what your family and street did to pay you respects to the past and present Diggers. See more

14.01.2022 Good morning to all our Facebook MOEC followers, We are very blessed to have wonderful neighbours who allow us to take students through their properties, camp on their properties and hike on their properties. They all do this as a very generous act of kindness for visiting students and staff so as they too can see and experience the great outdoors. Just to remind us that the great outdoors is still there and waiting for us when camps here resume, one of these generous landhol...ders sent me these photographs that she took on her walk yesterday. Yes, MOEC is situated in paradise. Have a great day everyone. Stay safe. o
