21.01.2022 Lachlan received his official Belt and certificate last night. One of the proudest moments in an instructors life is when the students achieve their goals. I could not be more proud of this young man having knowing him since birth and training with us since he was 6 years old, it is an amazing accomplishment of hard work and dedication. Lachlan has a huge future ahead of him and I look forward to seeing him continue to grow along his Kyokushin journey and achieving even greater things. Osu!

Looking forward to next year, Osu

17.01.2022 Dear Kyokushin Members & Martial Artists As most of you will be aware, the government announced new recommendations regarding COVID-19. All non-essential mass ...gatherings of over 500 people are to be banned. Subsequently, as per Government instructions. we are cancelling the NSW AKKA Open Championships due to be held on the 31st May Our students health and public health are our first priority, and we would like to help keep Australia ahead in our response to potential outbreak. Thank you all for your support of this and past tournament, your support has always been appreciated. At this point we are not cancelling the Australian AKKA Open Champion ships in August, in the hope that by that time the ban will be lifted (lets hope) We will be refunding all tournament entries received thus far. We will attempt to contact all competitors who have listed their email address on their entry form and advise them of this decision. Please dont hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Regards Hanshi Taylor

14.01.2022 So, what is the significance of this gi? As I was unstitching the 2017 competitor number yesterday morning, it dawned on me that this gi is 23 years old! I boug...ht this in Japan in 1997 and stitched the 1997 All Japan competitor badge on the right sleeve, my first international event. The 2017 Jakarta number closes 20years exactly between the first and last international event as a competitor. I have worn this gi in every tournament I competed since 1997, my 50 man kumite, my gradings and only on a few other special occasions. Now looking very worn and tired, the sweat, blood and tears this gi has seen, it holds a very special place in my heart and treasured every time I wear it. If only it can tell a story. See more

Thank you to everyone that participated at the camp, the grading and everyone that came on Sunday to support. 01.01.2022 And that is a wrap for 2019. What a year it has been. So many achievements, so many wonderful people joining our family. Senpai Eva and I are so fortunate. Thank you to everyone that joined in this mornings class. Thank you for everyones support and dedication to our dojo. Today we also saw Alexander in his gi for the first time, he was trying very hard to follow big sister Sofia ! Congratulations to everyone that received their new grades and to our end of year award re...cipients. Our dojo is run with each one of your enthusiasm, the parents bringing kids in and husbands and wives support. I certainly could not be doing what I do without Senpai Evas support, making sure I am always able to get to training and everything being in order. Words can not express my gratitude. Thank you Eva, I love you. Please rest well, drive safely and enjoy the Holidays. Looking forward to seeing everyone back on 6th January. Osu, Shihan Jim
