21.01.2022 Enjoying a BBQ with the Army who helped us out today.

20.01.2022 *Change to Office operating hours and conditions* Due to the Corona Virus and our duty of care towards our employees Marques have temporary changed our office operating conditions. Our office and Warehouse in Smithfield will be operating behind Closed Doors. Only company yard and office based personnel will be allowed to enter.... If you’re someone who needs to contact us please do by phone on 9755 1811 during normal working hours, Monday to Friday or by email. If needs to be in person then please contact the office first and make an appointment for your visit. If you’re a site based employee and need to contact someone in the head office please advise your Marques Site Manager at your job site and they will be able to call and organise an appointment for you to come in if necessary or you can just call directly, but please don’t simply show up to the office without notifying first. If you need to deliver materials or parcels to our office or warehouse please call first to organise a time prior to showing up. Apologies for any inconvenience, hopefully it will be for a short period of time. Regards Management

19.01.2022 This was what we encountered while driving through Mogo, one of the hardest towns ravaged by the inferno.

17.01.2022 Convoy update Guy’s, been told FUEL is desperately needed. However this is just one of the things needed. We are still taking everything else from groceries to clothes etc, these updates are only ideas as to what can be donated. Who ever is planning to help out and donating we have been told they are in desperate need of FUEL, these people have no power so they’re running of generators and fuel is a massive issue. Please if you can grab yourselves a Jerry can and fill it up ...with fuel and I can organise it to get picked up from your place or you can dropp it off to our yard at Smithfield. We are getting a massive response in general since the post went up last night so to everyone who already dropped off stuff at our office Thank you and may God Bless you. Also I invite anyone who may want to join us on the Convoy on Sunday. We are heading towards Batemans Bay (south Coast) áreas approximately 3-4 hrs drive from Sydney. It would be great to see yous all supporting these great people who need our help desperately. Also excellent for our city kids to actually go see for themselves what these fires have caused to our people and our Bush.

14.01.2022 Aerial shot of the Granville Place project we are currently undertaking for Parkview Constructions. A grand sized project which contains 617 apartments and another Parkview project we are honoured to be involved in. Apart from the thousands of square metres of decking on the job there are also four Hydraulic Jumpforms, five craneable Lift and Stair Core boxes, five Formwork Hoists and 150 Perimeter Screens.

06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, we are packed and ready to go. Our meeting time has changed slightly. Instead of leaving at 7am from Sylvania we are now leaving at 5.30am same meeting point. This just gives us a few more hours to be able to make an extra stop at another community along the way. We will be posting things along the way and later we will post our destination. We hope to be able to go to Surf Beach but will post actual location in the coming hours. We want to thank everyone who h...as donated and made all this possible. See you tomorrow.

03.01.2022 MARQUES ARE ORGANISING A CONVOY OF TRUCKS AND UTES TO DROPP OFF MUCH NEEDED GROCERIES TO AREAS AFFECTED BY THE FIRES. WE WILL BE DROPPING OFF THINGS LIKE GROCERIES, TOYS, LOLLIES AND EVERYTHING THAT IS A MUST IN EVERY FAMILY HOME. If you can help and also donate (and that could be anything from a simple can of tuna, toothpaste, toothbrush’s, cans of beans, waters, toilet paper, wipes, bath towels Basically anything that you would personally would like yourself and your family... to have if you were in these peoples shoes. Please contact us and we can organise our utes to your own local grocery store to pick up anything you may have bought at the time and be loaded straight into the utes that are actually getting sent down south to these families. Please we know everyone’s financial situation are different and completely understand that times are tough, However put yourselves in these families situation and I’m sure you would like it done for you so doesn’t matter if you donate something worth a dollar or donate thousands of dollars worth of groceries VALUE DOES NOT MATTER, we will be there to pick up your donation no matter what it is and without any judgement whatsoever. Once we pick up everything donated we will aim for everything to be delivered this following Sunday, where the Convoy hopefully shows these families that we are all here to help them and they’re just like our families. 02.01.2022 Convoy update Guy’s, we have been bombarded with msgs from locals and requests. Items that keep being bought up are CAMPING EQUIPMENT. Remember these people are now up to 8-10 days without power so it’s understandable that camping gear would be of great help. So if you still haven’t donated and intend to there’s an idea there.
